FLEX4PRO Flexo Plate Analyzer

The FLEX4PRO is the new-generation flexo plate and sleeve analyzer from PERET, replacing the popular FLEX3PRO/BETAFLEX PRO. It serves as the industry standard for controlling the flexo plate-making process, offering enhanced capabilities to measure and analyze flexo plates and sleeves, and print samples. The device is designed for ease of use, transportability, and integration with the RELIX4 relief analyzer for comprehensive plate quality control.

The FLEX4PRO is made in Italy by PERET.

The FLEX4PRO measures key parameters after imaging and processing, including LAMS, different types of photopolymer plates (with round-top dots, flat-top dots, and microcell structures), and elastomer plates and sleeves, providing measurements like dot area, screen ruling, dot size, edge factor, slur, undercut and 3D dot shapes. The FLEX4PRO is used to control micro-structure on LAMS and plate.

The FLEX4PRO high-resolution 3D analysis of flexographic dot shapes enables precise control over minimum dot sizes and gradients, allowing for a controlled transition to "zero" in highlight areas, which is crucial for high-quality prints, especially with advanced flexo technologies.

The FLEX4PRO analysis evaluates the ink lay down on various substrates by measuring the Mottle, the ISO grayniness and the Coverage. The new optical system enables the separation of black ink from other primary colors.

The FLEX4PRO camera focus can be moved in a 100% repeatable manner to lower levels in 4 steps of 125 microns. Analyze the cleaning of the floor in perfect sharpness.

All measurements are easy to perform, quick and highly repeatable. The optical system is always in perfect focus. No manual sharpness adjustment is necessary.

The self containing, cabin luggage proven box makes the device transportable. This makes it ideal for service engineers.

The FLEX4PRO sensor head can be un-pluged and used without the box for applications that do not require the transmission light source. For example 3D dot shape analysis or DLE Plate measurements are using reflection light sources only.
